Multiple entry visitor visa for my parents

Hi All,

I am inviting my parents to Toronto. In the visa form there is a section to enter funds available for their stay. Same for my father and mother.

Is there any mandate for this? Or I can enter any amount greater than 6000.

One more doubt, in the family information form is it mandatory to include details for every brother and sister? because from my father and mother side there are more than 4 brothers and sisters and to collect their data it may take some time.

For best chances of approval, your parents have to show that their own funds in their names can cover the trip, without your help. If you have to fund their trip, that’s where it gets tricky. Rule of thumb is CA$1000/week plus round trip airfare per person.

If you do not have your parents’ siblings’ exact birth dates or addresses just write “unknown” or at least the city/country they’re in. This is supplementary information, usually for background checks.

Thanks for the reply. One more thing. My parent's actual marriage date and registration date are different. Which date I should enter in the application? I think I should proceed with the Registration date. Please advise here. Looking forward for your help!
