Hi Guys,

I have a PR and have given my landing destination as Vancouver.
I might get a job offer from Montreal's employer and wanted to know if I can land and complete my formalities in Montreal.

Also,
If I settle down there, will it be an issue for applying for Health Card and other amenities without Quebec Selection Certificate

Any lead is appreciated

Others can comment as well but you cannot make an initial landing in Montreal if you declare to CBSA intention from day one to reside in Quebec, you have the possibility that your initial landing will be refused given you did not apply through the specifc Quebec PR program.

Once you are a landed PR you can live and work in any province so complete your initial landing outside of Quebec. The only possible issue might be if you are a BC PNP applicant versus EE so keep that in mind for any landing.

As for Quebec healthcare not too familiar with that but reading attached link there is no CSQ requirement listed
