thanks for the claification. Did they ask you for some kind of account number (10 digit) ? They (DHL) say they cant do anything without it. so confused. I put in a call to my Imm consultants here and hope to get this sorted out as soon as possible- so stressful !

Pretty much what Mr Cruz told Frida is right. If it helps the name in spanish is Guia Prepagada. I did this a few times and they never asked for 10 digit accounts. I know that if you try to do this internationally they'll ask you to have an account with them since it charges to your credit card depending the destination but if its inside Mexico they should be able to do it.

60 days gives you plenty of time..from when they receive the waybill it usually takes them 5 days to send it back to you plus one or 2 days before dhl delivers it back to you, PGR takes usually 10 days, sometimes even less and I've never heard anyone saying it took longer, then sending it back should be another 2 or 3 days tops...so 21 days in total

if its not going to make the deadline you have to email them ahead of time, explaining the situation and asking for an extension.
otherwise if u don't let them know u need an extension they will assume u aren't doing it and could continue processing without the pgr and that will cause problems and u risk being denied.

sometimes they will send u another email asking for the pgr again, other times they wont, depends on ur officer

Try a different DHL location , I kinda had the same problem .. At DHL They told I had to wait for a confidencial number from the embassy & leisa told me they dont send such a thing .. I was gonna be waiting for it lol if I didn´t ask about it !:S . mrs cruz told me she used her application number the one that starts like this F000***** .....

Hello guys, so far this is my wife's and I situation.

Application sent to CIC - Nov 7th, 2012
Application recieved CIC - Nov 9th, 2012
Sponsorship approval - Jan 28th, 2013
File transfered to VO Mex - Jan 28th, 2013
Undertaking sent - Feb 7th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Application recieved - Feb 9th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Payment processed - Feb 18th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Undertaking approved - March 6th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)

And that's it so far.

Now, I haven't recieved the CSQ (the actual paper) but we called the MICC and they confirmed that the undertaking for Quebec was approved and that on march 6th. Also the guy on the phone said that they notified the Mexican Embassy about their decision.

We called again 2 weeks ago to ask why I haven't recieved the CSQ if it was approved and sent on March 6th and they said that they don't know but they would send us a copy again and I still haven't recieved it.

Should I contact the embassy?
We have planned to go to the embassy next tuesday to drop a DHL or fedex prepaid bill or stamp so they could send us the PGR letter + extra photos of our 1 year anniversary vacation, but would they be able to tell me if they have the CSQ ??

Also, I've read several times about "requesting notes", what is that? ???

I would send a case specific enquiry if I was you, just to find out whats going on or if all the documents were received or not.

notes are the gcms notes, they are computer based, everytime someone does something with your file it needs to be put into the system. so when you order your notes you can see what has been done and what hasn't been started yet on your file.
