Is there any chance that my medical results will not affect my application for a student visa? The panel physician noted that I have self-inflicted wounds on my mental conditions, but that was months ago, and I did not do it again. Will an evaluation from a psychiatrist be helpful to prove to the immigration officers that I do not have any mental disorders and that I am also physically fit to study and work in the country I am applying to.

If this happened recent as you mentioned months ago, you may be required to have full battery exam or evaluation. However, while you are addressing issue with Immigration, self inflicted wound is something serious and need help. Immigration have guidelines to analyze medical report and if need be, they will ask for additional evaluation or they may not and proceed

It was just one tiny cut, and it did not even result in bleeding, and no scar was present.

I replied based on below statement. If its just tiny cut, no bleeding and no scar present, how did a Doctor/Physician note that? And you went further saying you did not do it again? why? was there any pattern? and why would ask for psyc-evaluation discharge for something which is tiny, nor scar present?
