I have a question regarding medical re-do forms:

- How does the form look and what sort of information is on the form that is revealed to the DMP?
- Does it state personal information such as the type of sponsorship, name of your spouse, etc?
- Is it the same form (Pink Sheet) like that listen in the 'Region Specific' application

Would it hurt if I re-do my medical without a request from the VO? My meds have expired in March this year.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to redo your medical now its a personal choice,if they have to ask for it ,it just delays the process for a bit,if it was me i would get it redone, some people say wait till they ask so i guess its a personal choice. They will ask for a new one.
You can download the medical form off the site and fill it in and take it in but i think you will also need photos to put on it,i think they require 3 passport size photos.

The form we received for a medical re-do was greenish . . . but that was after an allowed appeal. Don't know if that's the same form they'd use if they were asking for a re-do during initial processing. As I remember, it only had the applicant's name and address, and maybe the file number, and the pic from the original medical. Nothing else specific that I can think of. But definitely not the same as the form in the Region Specific Guides.

I can understand hoping to "hurry" things along by getting the medical re-done when you know it's expiring - and I don't know how long it takes to get an appointment with a DMP where you live. But for us it was a matter of days - I called and she was able to schedule me within the week. I think, if you're worried, call your local DMP and see how far in advance you have to schedule an exam. If it's not too long, maybe you won't feel so stressed about waiting to receive the request from CIC.

thanks guys ... I only said Pink form because I think I saw pink but I did my original meds while I was in Canada.

I just don't trust doing it in my homeland but I would run that risk if it helps me to get back to Canada sooner.

Is it going to hurt if I still redo it?
