Medical check question?

My Wife just got her medical check completed. We have a son that is in the process of getting proof of Citizenship. I'm reading on the guide that the sponsor and all family members have to complete a medical examination. Would this be true for our son or because he is Canada at birth and in the process of getting citizenship he wouldn't need to complete one?

If your son is a Canadian citizen he will be entitled to enter Canada without a medical exam. The proof of citizenship will be sufficient proof that a medical is unnecessary.

My daughter is Canadian (born in S. korea) but she did not do medical when I applied for sponsorship (outland)
