Dear Sirs/Madams,

I have a situation here: a lady is non-Canadian PR and want to marry with a male Canadian citizen. That lady holds a visa-free passport to visit Canada for academic exam and right after the exam she decides to get married with the Canadian citizen in Canada, is it legal to adjust her tourist status to marriage status in Canada immediately?

Or that lady needs to go back to her country after marriage in Canada and let her husband doing the immigration sponsorship for her? Which one will be faster to let her to immigrate to Canada??

she can marry n go to her home country to get it process, it all depeds on which country she is from and the timeline and also which option u chose..

Outland application is always faster than Inland.. so if u read the guide on CIC
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp

just take yr time and rad it and if u dont understand any thng on there , feel free to post it here..

good luck

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
It would help to know which country she is from. Also, does she have a student visa?? I don't know how else you could be studying here without a student visa. She may be able to stay here while the application is in process depending on the circumstances.
