Hi Akhs, I am in the same situation, medical expired on March 10th, no update... No ghost, eligibility review required. In Canada since 2016... What is your VO ?Completed 13 months. CEC inland applicant. Medical expired on Feb 28 th. Absolutely no updates on my file. No so called ghost updates as well. Medical still says you passed medical examination. I am not sure if it was extended or something.. until last week my application was still in the same status waiting for officer review. Definitely losing hopes now. Already in Canada so it's even more frustrating
You really want to wait after your AOR being Mar'18?Should I wait until online status is updated?
That is the email you have been waiting for so long. So yes go ahead and submit your passport.I received an email yesterday titled “ready for visa”
It will change only when they issue COPR which will happen when you send your passport. But I checked my application online, nothing has changed, it still says eligibility under review.
Hello ,,Application submitted - March 28, 2018
GCMS Notes received - January 5, 2019 (Review Regarding job description not matching NOC noted in GCMS on April 18, 2018)
Submit LOE, new job letter - January 22, 2019
New GCMS Notes received - March 8, 2019 (No change - word to word identical to original GCMS Notes from January)
These are the major events. Starting November I started raising CSE's for updates with no response.
Yay! Thank you.You really want to wait after your AOR being Mar'18?

Congrats on your PPR!
I was also asked to do a new medical which I did last week. I submitted my original application on 10th March 2018. I will wait until I hear back!Hi everyone,
My AOR is March 8th 2018, my medicals expired in February and I recently got asked to re-do them....for those of you who did and submitted the results already, have you received any news? I am praying and hoping that this 2nd request means PRR could be coming soon...
Also, for inland applicants, I see some of you are wondering why you were not asked to redo your medicals....it is my understanding that in your case, they are more often than not automatically extended
I am in a similar situation and asked the same question. I was asked for a new medical exam recently which I did only last week. But I really don't want to do anything further regarding background check and my status on that sill shows that is is in process.Just called IRCC and I spoke with an agent to enquirer about my security and criminality status on for her to come back after 5 mins of wait to tell “it’s still as it is and not started yet” . Is this possible? After 13 months and 14 days of waiting. Is it that she only view my profile status with making proper enquiry with a processing officer? Becos I was asked to re-do my medical after 1 year in the wait and it’s reall disheartening if they are yet to commence security screening. My profile platform still says “background check not started and they will send me a mail when they start” after a whole year. Anyone in this position??
Did you speak to them or raised a CSE complaining it has been way past processing time??Hi
Any CEC/inland applicant whose medicals have expired but haven't seen any update if they have been extended or asked for re-medicals?? Did you call CIC asking them what should be done.. my medicals expired on Feb 28 th..I have not seen any updates. I really thought after medicals expire they would finally take the file and start processing it . That has not happened in my case. I really don't know what to do.
Yes I did once in February and once two weeks ago I had called CIC and the agent over the phone. Told me she is raising a request to be sent to the case officer and we should expect a reply in one month's time. First time we received a reply stating in queue waiting for review by a visa officer. That was way back in feb. Not w it's 13 months plus..and no sign of any movement .Did you speak to them or raised a CSE complaining it has been way past processing time??
