Hi everyone!

I have a friend who works in canada since 2011 March, he has a work permit valid until 2013 march.
His LMO has been refused , can he apply under CEC? If yes , can he remain in canada and get a work permit extension? (Open or closed work permit?)
I am not familiar with the CEC , is this has stage1 (AIP) and after AIP you can apply for Open work permit?
His lawyer is a joke , thanks for the help!

Actually I did the medical before they request it. After more than a month, they requested it. However, they did not request it for the whole family, just for myself. This is not a good news because it means something wrong on the file. They also stopped replying my emails 3 weeks ago !!

Weren't you worried about your NOC?! MR shows that you passed the eligibility stage! That's a good news!

I am a july applicant and have a question to all who have received PR

Are you guys allowed to move to another province once you recieve the PR ?
Is there anyone who moved to Quebec after ? gave the address somewhere out of the city you indicated in your application ?

When I applied, my plan was to live in vancouver but now i changed my mind
do I really have to withdraw and start the whole 2 year or more application process ?
I would do anything to find out the way to save my time and save my current application
please help !

Applicants who intend to settle in the Province of Quebec will have to submit their application through the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles du Québec, as Quebec has its own selection process.

This is not uncommon, look in the MAY application thread, it's a recent topic of discussion.
There were a few applicants in a similar situation. Just email CIC in that regard, most likely they just made a mistake. Apparently it's they computer that generates a MR request only for the main applicant, and not all applicants (family). They will reissue or send you additional forms. Also many applicants did the medicals for their family members using forms at the Doctor's office.
Again, please look in the MAY application thread for more details. Looks like you have nothing to worry, just things to do in order to get to the next step.

Yes mine is like that too, but it has been 4 months that mine is like that. I applied through a lawyer so I don't know if the law firm did anything or is it a system glitch.

Yes I am. I sent an email to Questions@cic.gc.ca and to OttPilot and I am still waiting for a reply.

I really don't know what is happening....

If the problem is on their side why is that some people can still check their status and the others can't...I have another application in process and now I can't check any of them....I have never had the same issue before...

Hey guys... got my PPR today. Good stuff. I have 60 days to email the key passport pages (I don't need to send originals because NZ is visa exempt).
I have a question though - My New Zealand passport expires in August. Do I need to renew this before I respond to PPR?
What is the process after I send this documentation?
