Is there no way you can verify the cause of delay for, in the first instance, the passport request? We had our medicals Feb., 2013 and already instructed our consultant to verify the cause of the delay. Even though we are not in a hurry as we just had a baby, what I'm worried about is if there is still a chance they would reject our application even though we are at this late stage. Thanks.

Redax,

At this stage, Most of the time, the cause of delay is the background checking (education, pcc, work experience). that is good you have to follow-up with your agent to verify because medicals will be effective only for 1year other than those with special valid reasons (fault of CIC).

we have to pray for our :("time" lets be positive... no update since our medical had expired.

We already made follow-ups and we were advised that our application is on its final review by VO and our patience are highly appraciated. But that was last May, then we made follow-ups last August and they advised us that we are still on queue. However, we haven't got any updates 'til now.

Nakakalungkot din malaman na ang iba ang bilis bilis ma process ng application tapos yung iba ang tagal tagal... sigh sana nga magkavisa na tayong lahat so we can live our dreams.

Hi,

In my case it was more than a month. Parang 1 month and 1 week ata.

Cheers

Ilang days po processing ng visa after ng ppr?bgo mabalik passport?

good stuff!

Around early November malamang may visa na kayo. Kelan nyo balak pasok sa Canada? Suggest forego nyo muna winter kung may buffer time pa kayo. Medyo nakakabigla ang transition ng climate e. Especially if your destination is somewhere in the middle of Canada.

Cheers!

According to our agent they also have some applicants in the same boat with us where the PPR is taking a while. Will post the response they get from the VO.

In our case, no PPR yet until now :( :( :(

Hope and pray that it will be soon...
