Any idea reqarding the visa quota for 2009. Is it over or not?

I cannot see any passport request for applicants who has submitted their medicals during october, november & december.

I got the medical request on 22.09.09 asking to submit it within 90 days. I have send my medicals and RPRF on 15.10.2009. My RPRF draft was cashed on 21.11.2009. But till now nothing heard from them.

Can anyone pls advise the bring forward date for my application.

Thanks
Raj

I sent my Medical and RPRF duirng November 09, awaiting their next request ( PPR), no luck so far

The 2009 quota is full and everyone is waiting for 2010. On top of that the first 400 applicants to be processed are Philippines because they are granted special relaxation and priority clearance due to the flooding that happen in July 2009. This is as per ministerial order (go for details here) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2009/2009-12-01.asp

I don't see how this concerns London applicants. The Philippines has its own Canadian visa office in Manila. Besides, these priority applications already happened in Family Classes and not in FSW, and the web-site quoted by you clearly says that All applications received from today on are being processed according to standard procedures.
This is how rumors spread. Now everyone is going to blame Philippinos for taking their place in the long and sometimes frustrating line.
Poor Phillipinos - first they suffered from the flood and now they will be hated for all the wrong reasons.
OK, whatever with that!
Anyone from Ankara office? :))
