I am already in Canada, studying now on a public college. My plan is to try the "study > PGWP > PR" route but, I am still very early in the "study" part.

After some talks with a Canadian company about a position, they decided to hire me. However, they kind of freaked out when they discovered that I can work only part-time while studying while they're looking for someone full-time, so they offered me to do "whatever is needed" (theirs words) to support my work permit and/or PR application... now!

This of course will require a LMIA but, from what I've been reading in the CIC web site, to obtain a LMIA the employer must provide a job offer for the FT position signed by me (meaning I've accepted it). However, as far as I'm concerned I can't enrol in FT work while studying, so shouldn't be signing such a offer. So how to exit this loophole? Is solely signing a FT offer a violation of my study permit?

Anyone here having experienced the same situation? How did everything go?

Any other suggestion about legal ways to an international student obtain PR via a willing sponsor employer? ::)
