Hello all,

I have changed my addresses for more than 15 times during the past 10 years for different provinces, since I was a student until now.

I don't remember the exact house and apartment number that I used to stay.

Can I provide them a general information, (such as Area: Winnipeg, postal code NA, Province MB)? Did anyone have the same issue? Can you suggest me a way to complete this section?

Thank you very much

Its advisable to provide precise information , You can check your personal emails where you might have received communication referencing your addresses . Rest still not able to get precise info , You should add whatever you remember and can explain the concern in a form of Cover Letter to CIC.

If you don't remember apartment number that is understood , but at least you would know the building name or any reference , you can perform a goggle maps search to retrieve address also.

LOL, I had to come up with more than 30 address over the past 30 years, from seven countries (they have since changed the rules to limit it to the past 10 years). You can and should do better than that : )

- You're supposed to save your tax records for 7 years - that's a great source of addresses.
- Check other records - old bills, statements, etc.
- You can apply for your credit report - that will show several addresses.
- My mother still had her (paper-based) address book, with many of my addresses
- If you had roommates that you're still in touch with, you can ask them.
- Google yourself - white pages etc. might surprise you
- Check with your school/department -they might have some records
