An EE profile doesn’t confer nor aid to acquire any visa to Canada, let alone any legal status in Canada.

You must apply for the proper visitor (TRV or eTA), study, or work permits.

The EE profile’s only purpose is to allow you to get an ITA for PR.

It’s just an application, nothing more

It’s like applying for a credit card. You don’t get to go shopping, buy things and charge it to the credit card you applied for ,till you’re approved .
