I have been hearing that they don't even check your proof of funds while crossing border by road. But, in my understanding couple months statement should be good enough.

Thank you.

Is it required that we continuously maintain $13,486 over a span of one year. After my interview and before receiving visa I withdrew some funds from my bank account but re deposited them so now I have above $13,486. So, will that be a issue at landing. Please advise. Thank you

Not at all. You are good to go.

Thank you.

Interesting. Are the funds checked when you land in Canada?

Officially, YES, they r supposed to.
Unofficially, HIT & MISS, sometimes they do, sometimes they do not.

BTW: It is good to carry the PofA, lest u r stuck at the A/port.

What am I supposed to do at landing. I plan to go to Winsor, canada. Do they conduct a interview. What documents am I supposed to carry with me. Please advise. Thanks.

In my understanding, you would need your stamped passport that has Canadian visa in it (your's and your dependents). Other than that, if you are entering based on AEO, you would need to show your employment documents along with AEO. If you are entering on FSW - 3, you may have to show them proof of funds. Hope this helps.

Thank you.
