Hello All,
I got my CPR in December 2008 and since then was planning and canceling my trip to Canada for landing. This time I decided to land what so ever. I rented a car from DC on July 15th and drove to Toronto. I entered Canada over Peace Bridge. I never thought landing process would be so simple - it took just 15-20 minutes overall. However, immigration officer neither asked any passport size photo nor took one. She just checked all my documents and asked few questions and announced that I am now a Canadian Permanent Resident and I will receive my PR card in 4 - 6 weeks. However, few people in their posts in this forum indicated that immigration officer asked for passport size photos and if not available they took a picture there for PR Card. Now, I am just wondering if Immigration officer forgot to ask for a photo in my case.
has anyone had a similar experience? did you get your PR Card?
Thanks,
sanchi
