Job search for IT/Telecom

Iam new to this forum!
I am expecting my Canadian PR. I was wondering what is the best way to search for jobs in as Developer or telecom related jobs?
I have been trying for a while now, but havent had any luck. i was wondering if
1. my chances of landing a job with PR will be more?
2. Also are there any trust able IT consultancies who can help?

If you have been trying from abroad, then its normal not to have any luck. Chances are quite slim to get hired before landing - not to say its impossible - but the chances are quite slim.

Try everything you can to market yourself, networking, linkedin, attending technology events, IT/Technology bridging programs, coop programs, applying for internships,..anything can help. while doing your job search also assess your skills and see what you can improve, consider getting certified (if you aren't already)...etc.
