Did anyone apply from US? I applied through the IRCC new portal on the 13th of January, Biometrics done on the 30th of January. Awaiting next steps.

We applied on Dec 26 through gckey portal and they started to review eligibility last week. No update yet.
I am really surprised to see that much of people who submitted applications later than us but got the visa in a few weeks.

Biometrics: Jan 10, 2023.
Rest the status is the same. But I do not use any new system. Created an account and applied for a visitor Visa following the directions provided.
Is it okay? Or there is something I can do.
Please update if there is any difference.

I think the old one is okay, but I am not 100% sure. I saw the new portal has faster response. If you already applied, then you might have to wait.

Ill keep you updated, I applied on the 18th so only 1 day difference , and biometrics are already valid so I did not apply again for biometrics. and eligibility changed last week i believe but i dont know what day. Please also keep me posted. Hopefully before we hit the 1 month of processing we hear something
