letters come individually for each applicantHello,
I applied for visitor visa through the portal for my parents, but received application summary and biometrics request only for my mother (main applicant). Can anyone tell with their experience.
Are we going to receive another letter for my father or 1 letter is for both as I put my mother as the main applicant?
Brother,Hi Guys,
I got PPR for my mother's super visa, Applied on 19th Dec 2022 and got approved on 25th Jan
My question is, Can I go India and accompany her back to Canada ? As her purpose of visit mentioned was to meet son(me) after a while.
Is this possible ? Will not be a concern at port of entry ?
Thanks
Just take a chance of filling the web form people have gotten appointment email in 30 mins with appointment date within the next 4-5 days.Does anyone know any kind of tricks to predict the appointment for biometrics in VFS ?
As you all know the booking is based on webform and first come first serve basis. They don't allow walkins.
This is extremely inconvenient for people staying far away from the designated centers.
The closest I have is Kolkata.
Any inputs ?
(I tried calling call center, vfs chat options but there is no such prediction system which is but obvious)
Sure thing , Thanks for sharing you thoughtsBrother,
At the port of Entry, if they asked to your mother, WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE OF VISIT, then what would she reply.
Be remember, Visa is kind of ticket to Port of Entry not the PERMISSION to enter.
The officer at immigration counter is SOLE responsible for finalizing, and if he doubt that Application have any mislead / misguided information, that wont impact good.
It's better for long run that Mother should come alone if it is FIRST TOUR after visa.
Be sure, you mention in application "to meet my son" or "to spend time with my son", wordings also matters in Explaining.
I applied on 14 jan and biometric on 19th jan, no response yetDid anyone apply on the 18th Jan and got approved? for a visitor visa
Applied on Jan 13. No response yet, getting kind of worried now since most people who applied in Jan already got PPRDid anyone apply on the 18th Jan and got approved? for a visitor visa
I applied from Karachi, Pakistan. Do you have any idea how long is it taking for visitor visa from Pakistan to get processed? For India turnaround it only a couple of weeks nowthere have been multiple cases with quick rejections
so no longer timeline does not necessarily mean rejections
turnaround time is actually very unpredictable I would say
some people getting decisions in days and some are waiting for months
I don't know what's the logic behind all this delay
please do keep me posted and ill keep you posted =)Applied on Jan 13. No response yet, getting kind of worried now since most people who applied in Jan already got PPR
