Is Noc employment requirement needed?

My friend is on a 2 year OPEN work permit. The job says years of experience are required, though most of the jobs for that NOC actually only require little experience. I can find nothing about it but does the noc employement requirement take part in the result of an application? He is a bit stressed as he spent so much money for this application and hoping its not a waste of time...

if I understand you correctly, your friend is worried about the "employment requirements" identified at the bottom of each NOC description. In short, NO, he does not have to worry about that, VOs are specifically instructed not to go by that information, only the job duties and responsibilities (with a few exceptions, some occupations require licensure).

If you want to post the NOC number, that would help.

I hope any senior member can answer this question.

"Note: For the purpose of Canadian Experience Class applications, the "Employment Requirements” listed in the description of each NOC occupation are not applicable". This section are there in OP 25 and OP 6.
