Investment options

I am just wondering what are the investment opportunities in canada.. is it like US ? India ? I guess the basic ingredients like stocks, MF's, Debt bonds etc will be there but just curious how is it like..? what's the avg rate of return on various schemes etc..

Any refernce /thoughts/experience is welcome..

Yes - it's similar to the US. In fact many of the investments and investment products you can purchase in the US (and elsewhere in the world) are also available in Canada. Others are specific to Canada. It's very difficult to generalize about rates of return (rates of return depend on what the markets are doing, interest rates, type of investment, etc.).

On MF's this one looks good .. I can compare the fundamentals with Indian market ..
