For those seniors here.. I want to ask... At what stage do the VO request an interview? We applied for PR application back in February 2011. We are done submitting the passport, RPRF payment (already received payment AOR from CIC) and additional information after they have requested them.. Ecas status is application receive, medical results have been received. Is it safe to say that we already passed the interview stage?

Second question. Just last week we submitted an additional information - a letter informing them about the previous TRV application. I failed to include this important information during the AOR, passport, and personal history information requests back in April. Will this affect our PR application in term of delays or decision? We do not want to hide anything from the VO reviewing our application so we sent this late letter. Will they still accept this letter?

Appreciate the feebacks. :)

:D Hi raniloc,

No need for worries about it.
Most probably they might have ignored the omission about your TRV.I hope you did send the letter with an apology.
For this missing information reason there is no chance for an interview. They may ( not necessary )ask you over mail an explanation for your willful hiding of the fact in your application.

I think you are safe at this stage and hope fully you may get your PR visa shortly. :D

Good luck.

Thank you Wilson for your reply... :) :) Im afraid to say we did not apologize in the letter.. We just explain that we overlooked the previous TRV application and no intention to hide anything in our PR application.. I hope the VO will understand..

Hi raniloc. It is OK. As you have furnished the details and the explanation you made is at least would be satisfactory and would consider as an apology even though you did not use that humble usage. The visa office understand such omissions and it is very common that the applicants forget or overlook some information while preparing their application.

Relax.
