Hey guys.

I just received a message in express entry's inbox telling me that Ontario would like to consider me under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), now known as OINP.
I have a score of 479, and I meet the criteria of the Federal Skilled Worker and the Canadian Express Class programs. So I think that should make me part of the next draw.

Is there any advantage of applying for OINP in my case?

You are well above the last cut-off of 450. Most likely you will be able to get a direct ITA. You can probably watch for one draw and then decide your course. The purpose of getting nomination is to get an ITA and in your case, you most likely would not be needing it.
