Hi guys, so I sent in my application but my TRV is expiring this month and I want to apply for an extension just incase my application is sent bck after my WP expires which is in August. However is says in the application guide to wait until the WP is approved. What should I do?

Just a question, the 4 month timeline for OWP, is it counted from receipt of application or from AOR?

my app was received on Apr 29th and I haven't heard anything yet (5+ weeks), and my current WP expires end of june..

It seems to be ~ 4 months after the AOR date (NOT the day that you receive the AOR).

I don't think you're going to get it before your current WP expires.

Did you include the OWP with your Inland sponsorship application (in the same package)? If you did, you'll have implied [visitor] status after your current status expires, but that may or may not allow you to continue to work before the new OWP arrives.

I sent mine out on the 17th of April, so it's good to know that I might hear something soon. Thank you for sharing as there are many of us wondering when our will arrive. Did you get an email or something through snail mail?

Hello Sophiee and other Inlanders..
I need some helps. I have a little bit messed up situation.
My permanent resident app delivered in Missisauga on June 1st 2015.
1. I did not send my owp with my pr inland app to the address in Missisauga. Because i made mistake and sent it to Vegreville (same date arrived as my pr app).
2. I paid a wrong amount of fee for my owp. I paid 100$ instead of 255$.
What should I do to get owp since i didn't send it at the same time with my pr app. although i knew whether i sent it there it still going to be refused because of wrong fee.
so for now i am only waiting to hear anything from Vegreville (which i am pretty sure they gonna refuse my owp app because of the fee). and if it is being refused, should i apply again to Vegreville or to Missisauga? and i have not get any AoR yet.
or should I don't need to wait for Vegreville office to respond and just sent a new app with a right fee to Vegreville?
and my visitor visa still valid until August 31st.

just one small question please, we are submitting soon my inland PR application, my questions would be if its enough when I submit our marriage license ? its stamped on the date we got married from the lawyer that made the wedding, with all the needed signatures, date and so on, or do I have to get an other document about the marriage ?

-Marriage licence gives you the right to marry, but it doesn't prove that you got married.
-Record of solemnization of Marriage is the paper you got on the spot when you got married by the lawyer BUT that's not a marriage certificate
-Marriage certificate is the official registered record of your marriage recognized by state and that is what you need to send with the PR package to CIC

did you request the certificate? In Ontario it takes 2 weeks to get it and you can order it online. I'd assume that's very similar across the country.

good catch that wasn't me though I checked the changes I made to the sheet (mine is highlighted with blue) and it was not among my updates.
