Hi folks,

So the new draw is 534 points and I only have 478 which means that I need to wait until the cutoff comes to 478.

I was thinking that I should apply for Indian PCC now via bls-india.com as that takes 1-2 months.

My concern is what If I get the PCC and lets say the score goes down in next 3-4 months. Would my PCC be still valid?

Thanks.

Hi,

I got my PCC last year. Will that be still valid? Haven't been to India since then. Any official link which states the validity of PCC?

The guidelines on IRCC website --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp (Reacd under Police Certificates section.

It clearly mentions - For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the departure date of the last time the client resided in that country for more than six months.
Police certificates are required up front and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more. This instruction is for the purpose of the completeness check under section R10. However, it is always at an officer’s discretion to request a new or additional police certificate.

Do we need PCC for Canada as well?
PCC for Canada is not required until it is requested by IRCC.

Correct.
If you're in Canada, you can apply once you get ITA.
If you live outside Canada and never been to Canada then NO
If been to Canada then moved back to home Country then YES
sorry a bit confused here

Not required upfront at all.
