Immigration Officer kept my banking details

I had screenshots of my online banking printed as well as insurance documents when I came into Canada and have just looked through my documents and realised my banking screenshots arent with it. I had some issues with the officer and he was looking through everything with a fine comb. Are they allowed to keep that though?! It has my bank account number etc on there!

CBSA can look at and keep whatever they want to keep that they might consider relevant to a particular case placed in front of them at immigration. More than likely though possibly kept in error but would not hold out much hope of retrieving even if you could find out how to approach that.
