Can someone please indicate as to when should I expect the reply from Canadian Embassy?

While making a post in this Forum you should have given at least a brief note sufficient to understand the present situation about you. May be that is the reason you are not getting an answer.

I have filed the application last year in the month of August.
The status at http://www.cic.gc.ca/ shows as "Application received"
Here are the details:

" We received your application for permanent residence on August 8, 2008.

We started processing your application on August 14, 2008.

We transferred your application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office on March 4, 2009. The Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office may contact you."
