IMM5490 Additional Document

hi guys, i received an email from CPC Mississauga that in order for them to process my application i have to send the form that i forgot to send. which is the IMM5490 form.

now my question is there's this line in the email stating that: For fastest service, please attach the required documents to an email and send it to CPCMEXTCOM@cic.gc.ca.

then i scanned all the documents and made them in one PDF file and sent it to the email that they provided.after sending the email with the documents attached i got this reply from them. this line made me confused

"To avoid delays in processing your application, DO NOT send the same enquiry more than once or by other methods (i.e. fax or mail)."

because i want to send a hard copy as well to the mail and send it to them. would it delay my application if i send another copy of the form via mail(post office)?

I know it would make you feel better to also send by mail but it says not to. i wouldn't mail it since they said send by email only. Hope this helps. Maybe some others will add their opinions.

yea i kinda wanna send it through to mail for assurance. but after i received this reply i dunno if i really should. i'm afraid it might delay it.

Well they say "enquiry" which would imply a question. It's understandable they would not want people asking the same question multiple times.
I don't see how it would delay your application for them to have an extra form. If you do mail it just put something like "not sure if the email worked, here is the original of the same form I emailed on XX date".

oh i see wasn't sure about what they meant by enquiry. alright then i'll send the other hard copy tommorow for assurance! thanks! ;D
