Hi,

I have some questions on th form of IMM0008 Schedule 1 Declaration form ( PRV-outside Canada-- Part II Immigrant).

IMM0008 1E - Background/Declaration Q14: it says "you must give details of any voluntary or compulsory service".

I was a girl scout before when I studied in primary and high school, and this scout activity was compulsory for every scouts/ every government schools should participate in practising something similar like soliders in military organisations. That means I had to participate and test the courage test by jumping 34-feet tower and was in a member of parachute troop relations in different military organisations about 4 times ( each time studied and practised only few days).

Thus, I am unsure if my above activities should be included in Q 12 (Membership or association with organisation) because I received the certificates after I passed them all or should I put them into Q 14(Military Service) or leave it N/A?

In case if you suggest that I would put the aboved mention into Q14, there are no details of branch of service, unit numbers, names of commanding officers and rank mentioned on my certificates, what should I put those columns instead?

Thank you & Regards,

It's not military services, I wouldn't worry to much.

If it's not military services in Q14, do I have to fill those into Q12 (Membership or association with organisation) instead?

Thank you

That is at your discretion. I did not write down that I was in girl scouts, I thought it was irrelevant. But that is your desicision.

Hi,

It should be considered as Extracurricular Activities. They are an important part of the educational experience of many students in schools, such as sports, drama, music, scouting,Giude, dance, and various clubs.

You don't have to specify them.

Hello all,

I have questions on this form again as following;

1. Q12, is it neccessary to submit any certificates that I have done with my application?

2. Q15, it asks list all addresses where you have lived since you are18 years old, I do not know if travelling should be listed here or not. I have been in different countries but most were for vacation starting form 4 days upto 3 weeks in each country, should they be listed to Q15 or not?

3. Q15, I left my country to live with my husband for 1 month in India (stayed in his apartment rental) after we got married, then we had 3 months vacation together in Canada (stayed in his parent's house) before we came to UK where we are currently living (staying in apartment rental). I understand that my UK address is needed to be listed here but how about aboved mention? Do I have to provide any supporting documents that we have been living together since we got married on Q15 (Most apartment rental contracts are under his company's name, and some are under his name, there are no documents stated my name on it except joint bank account only)?

4. Q15, section "Declaration",it says do not complete the following section on "Solemn declaration & Interpreter Declaration", should I leave them blank like that or put N/A instead?

Thank you & Regards,

Hi,

1. Q12, is it neccessary to submit any certificates that I have done with my application? = No. You are under family class.

2. Q15, it asks list all addresses where you have lived since you are18 years = List only where you stayed long for education, training/ courses, employment, or just stayed with relatives for longer period, spend time job searching, business ................or any thing like that. Not small trips/tours/travels etc.

3. Q15, I left my country to live with my husband for 1 month in India : You may have to fill up the Foreign travel ( IMM 5549 ) for this purpose. Easy method is to copy all the Departure and arrival stamps from all your passports. Show month/year/ Place/Purpose

4. Q15, section "Declaration",it says do not complete the following section on "Solemn declaration & Interpreter Declaration", should I leave them blank : Don't do any thing there.

Hello Wilson,

Thank you so much for your quick reply.

Q2, you said it should be long enough to be listed. In my case, living with my husband for a month in India and vacation for 3 months for visiting his parents/cousins and for leisures, should they be listed in the addresses section?

Thank you

If it is vacation, then it gets listed as travel, not an address.

The address section is for the places you call home. Think of it as a permanent address section. A one or three month trip does not make that your permanent address, it is a short stay abroad.

Hi,

If you are filling up IMM5549 you can mention :

From: month/year to: month/year Place : State(.....)India, Reason: Vacation with family

No need of address and more details.

The example is already there in the form.

Otherwise no need to describe this kind of travel and stay ( Ref: Q2). Just ignore.

Hello,

I have questions back to Q11 on "Personal History". I have been travelling to many countries since I met my husband both travelling alone and travelling with my husband. The instruction says you must account for every month during the past 10 years under "Activity", print your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, enter what you were doing (for example, unemployed, studying, travelling) while the form asks to provide details of personal history since the age of 18.

Thus, I would like to know as the following questions;

1) Do I have to start listing 10 years back from my current age for personal history as instructed or listing them from the age of 18 as asked in the form?

2) I started working since 2005-2008, but we travelled and met every month since 2007 until we got married in the middle of 2008. Then I left my country to live with him. My question is during my working from 2005 to 2008 and many travellings and meetings from 2007-2008 with my husband, should I have to mention/ include travellings with my husband into this "Activity" column or should I state only my working time only? (As you see, my working times and our travelling times are overlapped and may confuse CIC. That means I have to separate each month of my travelling activities with my husband and my working listed monthly every rows during those year), am I doing it correctly? If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you & Regards,
