I run a solo IT Consulting firm based in Vancouver, Canada, and I'm planning to expand my firm in 2022 by hiring one or more experienced IT professionals. I am willing to sponsor work permit for the right person and eventually help with getting a PR.
The ideal candidate for my company would be:
1. Current status/location
Someone who is in Canada on any legal status (student, dependent, open work permit, etc.) or someone who's outside Canada looking to move to Canada. Currently in Canada is an advantage, but work permit sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
2. Experienced IT professional
a. At least 6 years experience in IT. Experience in roles such as senior developer, lead developer, solution/domain architect, software engineer etc.
b. Must have experience working at MNCs. If working at IT consulting firms (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc.) then experience on projects for North American clients is required.
c. Prior onsite experience in North America is a big plus.
d. Candidates in following areas will be considered: Java Developer; full-stack developer; big data developer; Data engineer; Data Warehouse engineer; AI/Machine Learning; mobile application developer; web developer; eCommerce architect; solutions architect; domain architect; data architect.
e. Work experience across multiple domains and clients is preferable.
4. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
5. Willingness to live in the Vancouver metro area, but also flexibility to move within Canada depending on client project requirements.
