British Council are good, and I found another website useful to study online for the IELTS. There are some useful online IELTS courses and free IELTS material.

? well, as far as requirement for a Canadian student visa goes the absolute minimum is 6.5 band no less than 6 for a undergraduate degree and a post graduate diploma, and for a post graduate masters degree and above 7 with no less than 6.5 will smoothen the admission process!thus 6.5 no less than 6 is what CIC deems as an important requirement for a Canadian student visa application!
