Hello, my friend got IELTS mark as follow.
R-6
S-6
L-6
W-5.5
So he retook it again after a month by convincing his parents and results were as follow.
R-5.5
S-5.5
L-6.5
W-6
Now he have depression. What to do now? He can't write exam again.
I heard about applying under general category.
If he get offer letter from a college can he apply under that category?
What are the chances of getting visa rejected?
Does the ielts mark affect approval of visa?
Which ielts mark is better for him to use among the two?
Edit: forgot to mention he passed 12th and is applying for diploma course.

1. Unlikely that he would be accepted in any reputable public University or College. There are private colleges in Canada that will accept anyone who has the funds and is still breathing, all they want is the money.
2. Too low for SDS, so has to apply under general category.
3. Yes, if CIC thinks that you don't have the English skills to succeed, they won't issue a visa.
4. No. 1

Thanks for answer is there anyway to increase chances for visa approval. I really want him to come with me. Also is there like any extra course he can do so that his ielts score wont affect him. Like an english add-on course or something.
