I have been currently living/working in Canada and want to renew my working holiday permit (WHP). I sent in my application to the Canadian consulate in Sydney Australia and they told me i am eligible and sent a letter of conditional acceptance and a link to complete stage 2 of the process. Every time i complete stage 2 it tells me im not eligible but if i put my current residence as Australia instead of Canada if allows me to the final application for a WHP outside Canada.
I want to continue working and not have to spend alot of money to renew it. Does this mean I'm allowed to renew my visa in Canada as i thought i was allowed too? If I'm not allowed to renew it here can i go to the USA for the weekend instead of flying to Australia?
