How to prove relationship to a nephew in a family class application

Hello,

A friend of mine would like to sponsor his 12 year old nephew under the family class.
Both of the child's parents are dead and the mother of the child was my friend's sister.
What documents does my friend has to submit to prove his relationship to the child.

Birth certificates showing that your friend and one of the nephews parents were siblings and have the same parents. Also, birth certificates showing who the nephews parents were.
