Hello Everyone!!!
Pls,i need some help!!I've got married last june in NYC.My husband is canadian,lives in Toronto and i live in Serbia.After the marriage he changed his mind and said he woudn't send the documents to the Immigration.Now,i stucked here in Serbia i don't know what to do?Should i apply for the visa?Or what?I don't even know how to start to get divorce? If someone has any advice PLEASE help!!(i have only the marriage certificate,i don't have his docs!!!!)

Without an eligible sponsor (your husband) you cannot immigrate under the Family Class. You will have to seek alternative ways, such as Skilled Worker, if you wish to migrate to Canada.

You will need to consult a lawyer about getting a divorce.

Thanks a lot!!I have to find some alternative ways,cause i would like to migrate to Canada.Do you think i have a chance to get there?I'm affraid that,they will ckeck that i have a canadian citizen husband,and they will not give me a visa.

I can't tell you if you have a chance or not, that's up the the Immigration officer at the embassy responsible for processing whatever application you eventually submit.

Having a husband in Canada who refuses to sponsor you might cause issues, yes.
