Help!

Hi,
Due to family issues i want to immigrate to Canada and start a business there. I have been doing business in my country (India) for more than 20 years. I can legally show my net worth is more than 1$ million and i am ready to invest more than 500,000$

My problem is that my family problems issues are getting worst day by day and the only solution is to move outside the country. I have two very good friends one in Toronto and one in Vancouver and i can move in either of the places (preferably toronto). However i looked at federal visa processing times and it looks like it will take me 6 years to process my application. I want to move to Canada and start my business in 3-4 months. What options do i have?
I cannot speak french. Can i use BC Provincial nominee program? Where can i find information on how much time will that take?
Also is it possible i move to Toronto, start my business and apply for PR once here?

Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

You can not just move to Toronto and start a business without having a visa. You can apply through the federal program but it takes way more time and requires more investment than the provincial nominee programs. Since you have a friend in Vancouver, you should look at the BC PNP at http://www.aved.gov.bc.ca/provincialnominee/businessimmigrants/welcome.htm

I don't think that Ontario has a provincial investor program. You can also look at other provinces nominee programs at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp
