Hello everyone,

I am completing one year on my job next month so started working to fill up my express entry profile.

I'm trying to figure out NOC code for my job description, Would be great if anyone could advise. Below is information about my job:

Company: Plumbing/HVAC Wholesale Distribution company

Job Title: Quotation Specialist/Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare take-off on specification from contractor website/emails.
2. Quote & prepare estimates on tendered fixture projects
3. Understanding analysis of mechanical specifications for bidding purposes
4. General filing, ordering & replenishment of supplies
5. Preparing drawing submissions
6. Fielding Calls, Taking orders, problem solving, dispute resolution, counter assistance
7. Drawing review analysis & resolution process
8. Liason with CSR regarding contracts - Responsible for proper turn over of a project
9. Project negotiation - requote & Follow-ups
10. Building on customer & vendor relationships
11. Maintaining Customer Active Project Report
12. Maintaining weekly job closing board

Please advise what NOC code will best suite my job description.

RE "4. General filing, ordering & replenishment of supplies" unless this is a major part of your responsibilities, I would consider dropping this, it makes you sound like a clerk (unskilled).

The letter I am supposed to get from my employer should match the responsibilities as mentioned in NOC code or my responsibilities will make me eligible to apply under these NOC codes?
 
Yes, definitely. If your job resposibilities are not the same or atleast along the same lines (they dont have to exact copies) mentioned by your employer as mentioned in the NOC then you will be ineligible. Good LUck.
