Help any senior members!!! PGWP applied, stay duration????

Hi all,.
Need some help again

I have applied for a pgwp, expecting it to be for 1 year. I wanted to know how the duration of stay works for pgwp.
Like if it is issued on 1st August 2014 for a year. Then will my stay in Canada be valid only until the next August 2015?
Or do they give you few months extra of stay.
As in my study permit which was for 1 year but they gave me 3 months extra for temporary residence.

Your PGWP will be one year (August 2014 to August 2015). No - they won't give you extra time.
