Go for job or masters

Hi guys,

I am an international student doing graduate diploma in Computer Science at Concordia University. I have 8 years work experience in my home country.

Will this diploma be enough for me to land a good job in Canada or doing a Masters after this will be better. Please advice as i am confused to what should be best.

Only you know about your current skills and whether there is demand for your current skills.

Agree with Canuck given after all if you are already in Canada you have the advantage over others already in that you can assess the job market in your chosen field as to whether a masters buys you anything. In theory you could even approach employers to see if any interest once you qualify and potentially go for a PGWP.

thanks guys, as my graduate diploma is 1 year, i am planning to do another 1 yr course to get 3 yrs PGWP.
So i was thinking, should i do another 1 yr graduate diploma course or 2 yrs masters course.
If doing another 1 yr program is same as the 2 yrs masters in terms of job then i should go for 1 yr program, thats the confusion i have right now
