Hi Guys,

I have experience of total 6 years but it has couple of gaps in it. Like,
Company 1 - 1.5 Years
6 Months gap
Company 2 - 6 Months
4 Months gap
Company 3 - 4 years

Please help me to understand if it will create any problem in the process. If I go for PNP, will I be able to submit the application?

As long as the total experience is within last 10 years, this is a perfectly ok situation for EE and OINP, I don't know about other PNPs though.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please help me with two more things?

1. Under PNP, they ask for last five years details of work experience. So is it ok to mention "Unemployed" for 4 months gap? Or is there any better recommendation from your side.
2. The company, in which I worked for 6 months, is completely shut down. I have it most of the documents but no referral/reference letter and there is no one to contact over there. Please suggest which should I do in this situation.

Don't add unemployed under work experience and it should be under personal history. Same goes for any work experience for which you don't want to claim points

So, if I am understanding correctly, I should not mention the experience of the company which has been shut down and has fewer documents.

Are you claiming points for all these experiences? If yes, include all of them in work experience, assuming you have references for each job. Don't worry about gaps there.

If you're not claiming points for all of them, then include those for which you're not claiming points in personal history only, not in work history. That being said, there should be no gaps in your personal history, and your "time offs" should be described accordingly. Unemployed, Travelling...etc...

Thanks, Senior, now I have some answers.
But, what about the experience of Company B (6 months) of which I don't have complete documents and I cannot get the remaining documents. Can i show this time period as unemployed in personal history without claiming any points of it?

Don't show it as unemployed in personal history, as that is not a true statement. Don't provide false information in your application. Plus it's really nothing to be concerned about.
Just include it in personal history as employed with true information, and don't include it in work history. You therefore show you're not claiming points for it, and won't be asked for documentation.

Thanks sir, you solved my very critical query.
