Hey,

Can you please help me out. I got in touch with a consultant who went through my profile and said that the chances of me getting through are very meagre and so I shouldn't be applying. Honestly, it has disheartened me and I find it hard to believe that when so many people are applying, there is someone saying that there are almost zero chances.

My profile is
Age 25 Years
Single
Diploma Electronics and Comm ( 3 years ) 2006-2009
BE Electronics and Telecom ( 3 years) 2009-2012
Accenture 34 months IT Work ex 2012 - 2015
MBA 2015 -2017

Concerns:
1) If I apply with my MBA in 2017, they will not consider my 3 years work ex. Is it true?
2) For IT work-ex to qualify, do I need to have studied IT? I have studied electronics and telecomm. Will this affect my score?

I have no idea whether to apply or no. I have exams till June so I was planning to write IELTS in July. Do u think I should still consider applying?

First of all check your score here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
In education put two or more certificates, hoping you will get ECA.
As long as your job is NOC O,A,B your experience will be counted (http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/html/Matrix.html)

2) For IT work-ex to qualify, do I need to have studied IT? I have studied electronics and telecomm. Will this affect my score? - In Express Entry, the NOC and work experience are independent of each other unless and until it is a regulated profession. As long as your primary experience falls under NOC skill type 0, A or B, your experience will be counted.

I have no idea whether to apply or no. I have exams till June so I was planning to write IELTS in July. Do u think I should still consider applying? - Yes, you should consider it.
