But EE is a small fraction of it and IRCC's priority. For other economic programs they can literally drag forever.Peak PR backlog was 550k people and now it is 500k people with almost half under "economic" category. How can they clear the backlog if they start inviting 3000 profiles per draw?
Remember to provide only English documents, although Canada is promoting Francophonie, but be aware that they don't process our applications like the others, for us it takes an extra time, and no one understands what's going on.Exactly yes I’m from Cameroon. We are bilingual here so we can switch from English to French without even noticing
Probably this week, CIC News will publish a report on the backlogs.Any updates on the recent number of backlogs? :/
I watched it for you. i hate that he's a grown man who doesn't know how to pronounce the work 'pandemic'. It's pandemic, not PENDAMIC...Anyone willing to watch this and provide summary? Thanks for taking one for the team
if someone will get LMIA job offer then they will go for a work permit and then they will patiently wait for the draws, otherwise it does not make any sense to hold this LMIA job offerI watched it for you. i hate that he's a grown man who doesn't know how to pronounce the work 'pandemic'. Anyway he makes an interesting point. He says most people with the high scores are not CEC because even for CEC, it's not easy to get 500+. He's wrong about this one, it's incredibly easy for CECs to get 500+. What he meant was that CECs are too lazy to get a high score.
He thinks that the 1500 - 800 (PNP) was mostly comprised of people with job offers. for the past two years, people with LMIA job offers must have been accumulating this whole time. Not sre if this holds true, because wouldn't someone who got an LMIA job offer in 2021 just have the offer rescinded? What employer is going to wait two years for someone to get an ITA and another year for it to be processed?
I'm not buying it.
My question is why drag the other backlog? It has to be done at some point so why not just reduce it as much as possible before inviting new people? But EE is a small fraction of it and IRCC's priority. For other economic programs they can literally drag forever.
It is impossible for most CEC's to score CLB9 in IELTS, forget about CLB10. No wonder most of them have low scores.I watched it for you. i hate that he's a grown man who doesn't know how to pronounce the work 'pandemic'. It's pandemic, not PENDAMIC...

How come - if someone is already living in the country where primary communication language is English then what is their excuse to not learn itIt is impossible for most CEC's to score CLB9 in IELTS, forget about CLB10. No wonder most of them have low scores.
So all highly regulated professions especially medical related ones won't ever be invited because they cannot start working immediately after getting PR and licence process takes a long freaking time.Canada plans to hold targeted Express Entry draws in early 2023
IRCC expects to implement Express Entry reforms in the first quarter of next year.

First of all, it is some kind of relief that they put a date to it. I was very certain that this year there was no way they could be able to implement it, so now they have to consult every possible stakeholder to come up with a list of occupations and degrees which are suitable for the Canadian economy. I believe every NOC in demand by the provinces will automatically be in that list, as per highly regulated occupations, I am in favor of staying the same, highly regulated and off reaching. So all highly regulated professions especially medical related ones won't ever be invited because they cannot start working immediately after getting PR and licence process takes a long freaking time.
the thing I was most afraid of !So all highly regulated professions especially medical related ones won't ever be invited because they cannot start working immediately after getting PR and licence process takes a long freaking time.
If Canada shuts down the pathway to an easy PR, Canadian Student Visa pathway will possibly double in the coming years given the desperation of people around the world to move to a "developed" country. Interesting days are ahead...!!!Canada plans to hold targeted Express Entry draws in early 2023
