A month ago a client received PPR but it was Vietnam national. If the client is from Britain then yes it'll be UK VO.
Oh so they do have international clientele.

I’m anxious on if the VO is working at all. As there has hardly been any movement noticeable in months.

I will fetch the timeline in 15 minutes.
Great, thanks. If you would also know from your solicitor when you get info on the pprs as to which VO dispatched it would be great.
Appreciate all the efforts btw

Hard to predict buddy. I’ve seen some who’ve got their meds extended once, get an extension a second time and some who were asked remed.
It may not be based on country at all, it is a decision made by IRCC physician and based on prior medical report if we are talking about re-meds.

No, the clients who are living in the UK but originally from another country. This solicitor is Canadian living in London and his partner is another immigration lawyer in Toronto.

I told you guys that at a rate of 45,000 cases per month, IRCC will clear the backlog by April 2022.

The Express Entry is getting half the attention, in the ball park of 22,000 cases per month, including CEC, PNP, FSW. Also, don't forget that the new minister will try to change things around him to show some kind of distincion / improvement with his predecessor.

Patiently waiting to see the mandate letter in December if there will be any new hints of what awaits us.
EXPRESS ENTRY Backlog as at August 2021 (in-cases/no. of applications):

FSW
- approx. 29,400
EE PNP- approx. 14,000
CEC- approx. 42,000
FST- 600
TOTAL= 86,000

Considering that they have been landing a minimum of 40,000 applicants since September and assuming that half of those (20,000) are in the Express entry category, then if they continued at this pace they should have cleared almost all the backlog by late January 2022 (excluding December 2021 due to holidays). The only drawback would be outland files in Local VOs that aren't yet active

Its a possibility, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Fingers crossed though.

Landing people is not the same as number of applications. One application can have 1 or more people landing.
With 29400 applications there can be 80k people wanting to land.

***Senior members please give your input

Hey guys,
This is for those who have SM8376 as the processing officer assigned to their file. The number can be found on GCMS on the first page itself as well as in the officer's notes in those entries where a final review/decision has been made.
What is the status of your file? Are you a single applicant or with spouse/family? Have you been added to the group 2TPLFJM0?

I just got my first legitimate GU!!
Oct 2020 fsw-o with medical expired last month.
Could this GU be for medical extension? Nothing has changed in my profile regarding medical though, it still says “ you do not need a medical exam”
Hi guys, after few ours of the GU I received an email from CIC and a message in my portal account asking me to submit an Additional Family Info IMM5406 form. Does that mean anything? What stage I am in right now?

guys, just want to understand is it a good choice to do upfront medicals now? I've seen someone posting in FB group that they did so and got PPR afterwards.

No, FSW had about 50,000 applicants (Primary + Dependents) as at October 2021. For me, the most important number relating to backlogs is the number of cases/applications.
