Sorry Brother but I dont agree with u on this, may be your views match your experience. But I got the PCC done with in 2 hrs of my stay there and believe me it was flawless.

Two documents I can think of are :

Address proof (Bank Statement of 1 year validating current address is acceptable), ID proof (Passport itself in hard copy).

Also carry with you 500 gms of extra patience to deal with the guys from TCS (who have been entrusted to run the scam center) who behave worse than government servants.

I also agree with you. My appointment time was 9.30 am, and I got PCC within 75 minutes. TCS guys helped us a lot and were much better than the passport officers. In case your are carrying infants/kids with you TCS guys have the power to give you priority tokens, so that you dont have to wait for long. Its a very smooth process that the Govt of India has put into practice now. Hats off to the concerned.

I do not expect that VOs will kindly send emails to every applicant with info and prognosis about his file or all files for each immi program, but they COULD announce on their websites at least at which stage currently they are! FOr example:"We are doing currently the backlogs from year 2011. From March 2014 we will start to process FSW 2013 applications." People have a right to know what VOs are doing and when to expect steps from them. We all live in one big unknown spacetime. Or they will start to process my app after 2 weeks or after 2 years. This is really cruel!

My CC was charged on 6th Dec, but no PER as yet. Did you get PER??? How long does it take to get PER after CC charge???

No PER yet,but am expecting it anytime soon(I hope it comes this week). From details on the spread sheet,some people got PER same day cc was charged odas 2,4, 7, 8 ,10, 21 ,100 days after cc was chareged. Soo I cant specifically sayYou're for which NOC?
