Hello,
I want to go to Canada (from Germany) and find a job. Is it possible to get a visa first and than find a job? Or must I have a contract first to get a visa? I have already tried to find an answer on gov website.
Thanks and sorry for my bad English

Generally speaking you must first have a job offer in Canada and your employer must also obtain an approved LMIA.

If you are the right age - it's possible the working holiday visa program may be an option for you which would let you temporarily work in Canada without first getting a job offer. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/eligibility.asp?country=de&cat=wh&#country_category_name
