For those who applied to London CIC office after Nov 2009 and received AOR

I just have a question about the AOR letter. Is your letter also stated that the processing will last for 12 months on average. And they will check if your application is eligible or not and if yes they will start processing otherwise they send the full application with full refund?

I am little bit confused because I know that for CIC offices they should strat processing as soon as they receive applications.

A friend of mine is going to apply after 5 months (in November 2009), so then we'll be able to let you know.

Also when we want to check the status of the application you need to enter the old AOR (from CIU) or the CIC office one.
