Flagpoling by foot

Does anyone have any experience of activating their PR by foot?
I am wondering if it’s possible to get the greyhound / megabus to Kingston for thousand island or niagara for rainbow bridge and walk across?

Interested to know as well... I did flagpoling before in Niagara Rainbow Bridge but that was for my Work Permit.
I got US Visa that time and it went smoothly. Now want to know how it goes for PR Visa. BTW, ive learned there is an option to do it "inland" by setting a schedule in an Immigration Office. Have you tried calling IRCC about this? This might be easier instead of doing the long travel to border.
