Today i received a request of medical for my sibling, who is representative too for my express entry file. he is already a candian PR holder and resides there. at the time of submission of file, i added his details in order to get his points. Now is this right to get his medical done or it is an error by ircc that is asking me to get his medical done. Moreover they have added his name in DEPENDENTS in my file.

So doing upfront medicals and pcc had your application speed up? I am Feb 14 and I don't see any movement at all.
I would definitely recommend upfront pcc and remeds, if i hadn't done both of them i would right now just be sitting with those same 2 things as ADR and delayed my own ppr with another 30-60 days.

Guys,
I have a small query. Suppose i receive COPR(by Grace of Almighty), can I travel to other countries before landing in Canada?

Will it revoke any clause or will there be any issue at the Border Security Check in Canada?

Please share some light on this please.

Is it advisable to go for Upfront Medical? I see a lot of applications moving due to that. Does it have any bad implications on your profile?

The worst that can happen is that your upfront medical doesn't get linked on time and you have to do another medical exam. If you don't care about the fee and speculate that eligibility/security have passed, go for it.

Whether it moves your application.. appears highly random. I don't see how it can delay your application though.
