sounds like it, we are FSW_O with spouse and kid last time i raised webform it looks like mine has nothing started. Feb 1 AOR by the way.

I am PNP-Inland and AOR February 15. A form was requested Feb. 26th and submitted around early March. last time i sent a webform, i received a reply April 23rd that my office is Sydney, Nova Scotia. and background and eligibility still in process. It is taking so long compared to others in some threads. I am not sure how long more, but the chart sent earlier explains why...

Hi! I'm AOR Feb 8th, Biometrics completed Feb 27th. Just received this webform reply. A bit confused about the wording regarding eligibility.

· Your application was received via your account on February 8, 2020.
· The responsible office has not initiated the verification regarding the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
o You may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The background verifications are in process.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.
· Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-E) in Edmonton, Alberta.
which stream are you under? the background check seems start but eligibility seems not even start yet. is there any updates on your tracking status such as background check started? Thx!

I'm CEC inland. On my application page, it says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"

I'm a bit confused because I raised a previous webform a while ago, and the officer "The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied". So I don't know why it changed to "The responsible office has not initiated the verification regarding the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied"; is that just a different wording?

AOR - February 22
MEP - March 3
Biometrics - March 10
Just received this webform reply about my application. 80 days and counting.
  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements.
  • The background verifications are in process.
  • Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario.

They told me that "eligibility review is valid" as reply to a web form.
FWS Outland, AOR Feb 22nd, Biometrics not completed yet.
AOR Feb 22nd for FSW-Outland here too. My Biometrics were completed in early March and I’m still awaiting eligibility. Happy to see some progress for our stream.

I am actually submit biometric on the same day as yours. Is web form same as gcms notes? At least they start background versification. Is there any updates in your status in the system such as background check start?

The web form is a tool for communicating variations in your status or asking specific question; they answer in 2-5 business day but information will not be that detailed or reliable. You can easily send a web form from here.

The gcms notes contain the full status of your application and all the comments of the officer that are processing your case. It takes at least a months to receive them and you need to pay (not that much) to get them. There are plenty of links in this forum of services that get the gcms notes for you.

I sent off for GCMS notes a month ago and have just had an email to say that IRCC have requested a further 90 days to process this kind of request.
Just letting you guys know in case anyone was thinking of requesting them, the notes may take some time.

A 90 days extension for me would be beyond my expected date to finalize. But with the pandemic, there's no telling.

agree gcms notes has more details, one can see one at sample.gcmsnotes.com , while 3rd party companies can help with the process it's also something that can be easily done with the help of a friend or relative as well in canada or for that matter if you have a canadian friend or relative residing in your home country they can help you as well; also see https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...-to-ndvo-2019-please-join.613441/post-8618086

I did not order GCMS notes. Here's what the message shown in background check section:
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
