I am a UK citizen but lived in the US for three years. Is there any quick way to get the FBI checks done and should I just send in my paperwork minus the FBI check?

There is a quicker way if you are an American citizen or a Permanent Resident.

i am not in the US and haven't lived there or had permanent status for 12 years! so have to go the long route it seems.
